Project Description
NIP, SA, in consortium with the Navarra company TRACASA (50%), was awarded two contracts for the development of thematic cartography (Lot 1 and Lot 2) at the end of 2013. The works affected a total of 105 cantons and an area of approximately 121,610 km², developing thematic maps of the territory at scale 1: 25,000 with details of 1: 5,000.

Geomorphology
Geomorphological study in 105 cantons with an area of approximately 121,000 km², 9,000 geomorphological units interpreted and 221 types of differentiated geoforms.
Geopedology
In 105 cantons with an approximate surface area of 121,000 km², more than 8,000 surveys were carried out, 4,400 surveys and 17,000 samples analyzed in the laboratory. The following studies have been carried out:

Land use capacity, 8 differentiated classes of land use capacity and 65 management units.

Difficulty of tillage, 5 different classes of tillage difficulty and 63 tillage units.

Threat of water erosion, 5 different classes of risk of water erosion.

Infiltration speed, more than 6,000 tests with two techniques to contrast results.
