Description Customer and Project

NIP, S.A. started working in the Cofrentes N.P. in 1980 in the Maintenance Technical Office providing technical assistance for the implementation of its SAP documentary Management System. Since 2011, it also performs support activities for the Fire Probability Analysis of the Cofrentes N.P.


Tasks developed

  • Programming Maintenance Plans according to the Plant Condition in the Management System.
  • Managing daily tasks and Security Labels related to Operation / Maintenance, before starting execution of the works.
  • Works management and security labels according to the Re-charging Plan before executing the works and finalizing the same.
  • SAP Maintenance Management Assistance.
  • Configuration Control Assistance.
  • Maintenance Technical Office Assistance.

CNG Filling Stations for vehicles – Gas Natural Fenosa

Description Customer and Project

Our customer Gas Natural Fenosa has contracted with NIP, S.A. the construction of different CNG and LNG Filling stations:

  • Urbaser Bon Pastor (Barcelona) Vehicle Fleet CNG Station Extension and outdoor filler pumps (public road).
  • CLD – Barcelona Vehicle Fleet CNG Station
  • Mare Nostrum (Barcelona) unattended public CNG filling station for refilling vehicles
  • Unattended public CNG filling stations for refilling vehicles in Madrid municipality, San Blas, Villaverde, Vicalvaro and Aravaca districts.
  • Eurocam (Vitoria) LNG Filling Station (for long-distance heavy goods vehicles) and CNG (for other vehicles).

In addition, we maintain the following Stations:

  • CNG Station for the Urbaser (Barcelona) refuse-collection Vehicle Fleet.
  • CNG Station for the CLD RSU refuse-collection Vehicle Fleet.
  • Mare Nostrum (Barcelona) unattended public CNG filling station for refilling vehicles.

Tasks developed

Nipsa performed the following activities in the previously mentioned CNG “turn-key” installations: • Civil Works

NIP, S.A. has built several Regulation and Metering Stations for Gas Natural in the Ciudad Real province

  • RMS type G-400 in the Tomelloso municipality
  • RMS type G-250 in the Argamasilla de Alba municipality
  • RMS type G-400 in the Campo de Criptana municipality
  • RMS type G-400 in the Alcazar de San Juan municipality

Tasks developed

NIP, S.A. performed the following activities in the “turn-key” works:

  • Supply and mechanical assembly of the RMS including all the necessary elements.
  • Supply and assembly of the Cathode Protection Station (if applicable).

Naturgas has trusted on the experience of NIP, S.A. to execute the “TURN-KEY” construction of one Metering Station and two Regulation and Metering Stations in the ‘NATURGAS ENERGÍA Y TRANSPORTE, S.A.U.’ SECONDARY TRANSPORT GAS PIPELINE SERINYA – FIGUERES:

  • MS G-400 (45 BAR) AT POSITION 01, Serinyá municipality
  • MS G-250 (10 BAR) AT POSITION 02, Navata municipality
  • MS G-1000 (45/5 BAR) AT POSITION 03, Vilafan municipality

Tasks developed

  • Civil Works.

Endesa is the leading company of the Spanish electricity sector. Its main business is the production, transport, distribution and commercialization of electricity.

NIP, S.A. has been contracted to perform MV/LV Technical Assistance and Engineering in the Catalonia Area.


Tasks developed

The services applied to medium and low voltage grids are grouped as follows:

  • Studies to attend to requests for new supply and extensions to the grid.
  • Studies to attend for branch requests.
  • Studies for grid development.
  • Projects for legalizing and/or executing grid extension or modification installations.
  • Services related to execution control of installations, like quality controls and safety, works supervision and management.
  • Processing permits and authorizations (official and private).
  • Complete MV/LV works management.
  • Regulatory revisions of MV/LV installations.
  • Health and Safety coordination.
  • Digitalization and custody of documentation .
LPG REPSOL Technical Office

LPG REPSOL Technical Office

Description Customer and Project

Repsol, Spanish leading petroleum refinery, commercializes and distributes bulk LPG and via pipes in gaseous phase
It has LPG installations for the piped gas service, consisting of a storage centre, a distribution network and the necessary outlets. By regulation and due to exploitation needs, as-built documentation ahs to be created to reflect how this infrastructure has been built and to allow future study and localization. Repsol Butano has trusted the management of the mentioned as-built documentation to NIP, S.A.

The “Technical Office” basic service will consist of the organization, filing, updating, maintenance and availability of the REPSOL BUTANO documentation, in addition to making copies on paper and digital supports as required.

  • Opening of the dossier for the industrial estate and township computer management.
  • Handling of As-built documentation.
  • Preparation of As-built drawings starting from field sketches and completion of databases.
  • Drawing Updating, integrations and modifications.
  • Obtaining cartographies.

Supervision and Monitoring for transport lines in ANGOLA

Supervision and Monitoring for transport lines in ANGOLA

Description Customer and Project

The Empresa Nacional de Electrcidade, Empresa Publica (E.N.E.) as the company responsible for transporting and distributing electricity in the area, hired NIP, S.A. as Consultants for the following construction works supervision:

  • 220 kV transport line, between the Cambambe and Gabela 2 (Kwanza Sul) substations in Luanda.
  • 400 kV transport line between the Catete (System associated to the Cambambe 2 Plant) and Cambambe in Lunada substations.

The construction of these two transmission lines is to strengthen and improve the Angola Transport grid, with the objective of improving the basic infrastructures for developing the country.

Network Updating and Capture for Gas Natural  in Latin America

Network Updating and Capture for Gas Natural in Latin America

Description Customer and Project

This project is for capturing and/or updating cartographic data.
The works consist of a double aspect: on one hand the Updating and Capture of Networks and on the other the Generation of Digital Cartography.


Tasks developed

  • Capture and introduction into the sigNatural (GIS) computer system of the gas Distribution network and outlet diagrams, with their corresponding attributes, interpreting the information associated to the diagram for its integration and sizing in the network to the cartographic references available in sigNatural.
  • Capture and integration into sigNatural of As-built project and finished works diagrams, corresponding to the high-pressure network, interpreting the information associated to the As-built drawings, generating the base line AP cartography and introducing it as additional detail to the drawing in raster format.
  • Application of automatic network quality controls foreseen in sigNatural, to reduce the possibility of generating errors
  • Correction of errors caused by previous massive capture or by migrations form the database.
  • Scanning and Georeferencing of the works reports and Outlets in the sigNatural in *.pdf format after digitalizing the works
  • Generally, capturing of network associated information, outlets and auxiliary elements, with their corresponding attributes.

Provision of Field Services (expropriation) ENAGAS MEXICO

Description Customer and Project

Framed within the NG Transport Contract “Provision of Natural Gas Transport Services for the Federal Electricity Commission in the Tlaxcala. Puebla and Morelos States” in Mexico, since 2012 NIPSA has been carrying out the necessary Consultancy tasks to coordinate and supervise the works by third parties, for land acquisition and/or processing of permits by means of agreements or expropriations, indemnities during works periods, and generally for the process until obtaining the freeing of lands for successful execution of the works.


Tasks developed

The tasks to be carried out for supervision consultancy of the land acquisition process are:

  • Control and monitoring of all the works managed by the different works contractors.
  • Control and monitoring of payments, deeds, agreement of sums, etc.
  • Definition and monitoring of the detailed reports prepared by third parties.
  • Issuing of monthly reports including the monthly and accumulated progress of the works.
  • Necessary displacements to the works for supervising and control of the same.
  • Monitoring and support of the work developed by third parties.
