Ingeniería Estudios y Proyectos NIP, S.A. started its international activities more than 10 years ago, giving support to important Spanish Utilities in their own international growth in South America, as Gas Natural, Iberdrola Group, or Telefónica.

During these activities, NIP, S.A. founded branches in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.

After successfully achieving the first step of internationalisation, NIP, S.A. began with new and more ambitious international challenges, which consequently in 2007 let to NIP, S.A. being present in several parts of the world:

  • Latin-America
  • Africa
  • South East Europe
  • Russia
  • Asia

A great number of projects that we are developing, are financed by the multilateral financing institutions such as World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank or European Commission. Additionally, we derive financing from Spanish bilateral financing institutions and development agencies such as FAD, FEV and AECI.

NIP, S.A.´s International activities focused mainly on electric power generation, transport and supply; renewable energies; water and environmental engineering; airports, and mapping and cadastre. However, through the diversification of products and synergies among different departments, NIP, S.A: is able to offer its whole portfolio of products and services to the international market.
